Memberships are how this music keeps happening.
Annual memberships are the steady, predictable foundation under everything we do — programming, education, free community concerts, and the kind of stable support that lets a small nonprofit actually plan a season. Whatever level you choose, you're the reason we get to do this.

Common Questions
A few things people ask.
Are memberships tax-deductible?
Yes. Telluride Chamber Music is a 501(c)(3) non-profit (Tax ID 74-2319709). The full amount of your membership is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. We'll email a receipt right away and a year-end summary in January.
What does my membership pay for?
Membership dollars are unrestricted — they go where they're needed most. In practice, that means:
- Artist fees and travel for our year-round concert series
- Free community concerts in Telluride and Norwood
- Education programs — free workshops, school visits, kids' concerts
- Venue costs, programs, and the day-to-day work of running a small nonprofit
MusicFest is funded separately. To support the festival specifically, look for the MusicFest donation option on the festival page.
When does my membership start and end?
Memberships run for one year from the day you join. We'll send you a renewal reminder a few weeks before it lapses — no surprise charges, you decide each year whether to renew.
How do I claim my complimentary tickets?
Tiers that include comp tickets (Palmyra and up): just email us at telluridechambermusic@gmail.com with the concerts you'd like to attend. We'll set you up at will-call. No special process, no codes to remember.
Can I upgrade my tier mid-year?
Yes — give us a call or email and we'll prorate the upgrade. The benefits of the new tier kick in immediately.
Can I give a membership as a gift?
Yes — email us and we'll set it up. We'll send a card to the recipient announcing the gift, and they get the same benefits as a regular member.
Does my employer match this?
Many do — and a match can effectively double your gift. Check with your HR department or Benevity / Bright Funds account for "Telluride Chamber Music" or our Tax ID 74-2319709. If you need anything from us to complete the match form, just ask.
What if I want to give monthly instead of annually?
Recurring monthly giving is being set up — get in touch and we'll let you know when it's ready, or we can manually set it up now. In the meantime, an annual membership at any level works the same way for you and helps us plan with more predictability.
Still have a question? Email us — we're a small team and we'll write back.
